COLLEGE PROGRAM | STEP 1:

We’ll help you set up your plants lists. 

• You’ll get a free PlantMaster account for your school. Any instructor can use this account for their college program.

• We’ll give the proper training so you’ll know how to build and maintain plant lists for every class. We’ll also work with you to make sure all the plants you teach are in the database before class starts.

• For each week of class, there will be a corresponding project in PlantMaster. You can easily edit any of the plants, plant information, or plant images at any point during the class.

• We’ll take it from there! We have a website just for students and we’ll post each project in two ways for your students. First, we’ll post a presentation link so your students can see all the plants, plus high resolution images of each. And we’ll post the import code for each project so students can import the exact plant list in to their PlantMaster student account (more on that in a second).

COLLEGE PROGRAM | STEP 2:

Two ways to use PlantMaster in your class:

Option 1: Completely Free

Once you put together your plants in a project in PlantMaster you can share those plants as a presentation. Each presentation includes several large images of each plant, plus complete plant data (which you can always customize).

Students can click on the presentation for each week and get a fantastic snapshot of each plant.

Option 2: Student Account

Students who want to go the extra step can purchase a PlantMaster student account and import a copy of the project into their own personal PlantMaster account. There they can use all the quizzing features to truly learn the plants you are teaching. They can also customize the plant data or add their own images to each plant record.

Students can use PlantMaster at a heavily discounted price for 2 years (or as long as they are enrolled in classes).  Here is the pricing: $49 billed every 6 months or $79 billed every year. Both options are subscriptions and will continue until canceled.

COLLEGE PROGRAM | STEP 3:

Update as needed. 

Its really easy to make changes to your projects (plant lists). If you want to change the plants for a given week, all you need to do is open your version of PlantMaster and update the plants within the project. Then you can add new plants and remove any you don’t want to teach.

You don’t need to do anything for the presentations or the links on the student page – they will automatically update. If your students are using a PlantMaster student account, just let them know which list has changed. They will need to import that list again to get the updated plants.

If you want to change the actual order of the plants you teach on the student website (or which week you teach them), just email us the revised order or the new list of plants (project) and we will publish it to your student page immediately!
